there is a PTC Merit list...

why dont they invite another player based on that list

Hawkins first choice then if Hawkins cant go its McGill,Ebdon,Wells,Cope etc etc

same with Ranking events if say Ronnie withdraws then highest non tour player on that list gets a sort of wild card.

I'm really disappointed at the piecemeal coverage of the PTC grand finals on Eurosport. According to the tv listings there is nothing on the first day and then unacceptable, disjointed coverage from then on. I honestly expected better - either cover something properly or don't bother. Don't trivialise snooker!!!

There's just over six hours coverage on Thursday and eight and half hours coverage on Friday

Strange way of trivialising snooker

Some people don't seem to realise that other sports exist

You can watch it all on the Eurosport player and you don't have to suffer the commentators

dave, i dont know why you even bother to reply to drivel like that.

those of normal intelligence knew 224 was talking garbage.

In answer to 3.36pm,it made me feel so inadequate reading such an intellectual and erudite comment. It makes me wonder if we should all just give up competing with such mastery of the English language.

Dave - what are the actual times of tv coverage then? Because the only times I can see are sparse and disjointed as mentioned earlier. Thanks

Whoever said the Eurosport coverage wasn't enough is clearly wrong

They've been showing hours of it
